We have partnered with Asian oil and specialty chemical producers to provide engineering services and proprietary equipment for esterification plants. The plant will use proprietary jet reactor technology and will be designed for batch sizes of 15 cubic meters. The main product is medium chain triglycerides (MCTs) used in the food and personal care industries.

The efficient, safe, and easy-to-install jet reactor is an advanced batch reactor with liquid and gas circulation loops that ensure intimate contact between the reactants/catalyst (gas, liquid or solid state) and the stripping agent and superior interface area. This offers significant sustainability, safety, batch time and product quality advantages over stirred reactor technology. This means that the entire plant will use prefabricated skids that are transported to the construction site and then assembled. Manufactured in the highly controlled environment of a supervised module yard, this approach significantly improves quality and safety while reducing overall risk in the project schedule as construction work is minimised.
